Graduate Trainee Chartered Accountant
At CLB Coopers, our clients are not the only ones we help to grow. We are just as committed to helping our people achieve their ambitions too.
Join us as a Graduate Trainee Chartered Accountant and you will receive our support and training to attain the prestigious ICAEW ACA qualification.
We work hard to create an environment that encourages personal and professional growth. We are committed to helping you achieve your ambitions throughout the stages of your career with us, as you qualify as a Chartered Accountant and progress to become an established and trusted professional advisor with our team.
It’s a great opportunity to join an exceptional firm and to start an exciting and rewarding career with us.
The key to our success is our talented and dedicated team of people and we are looking for exceptional people to enhance that team. You’ll want to work in and actively be part of an inspiring and challenging environment. You’ll recognise the importance of a team approach which is fundamental to our culture and of the value we place in succeeding together. As an individual, you’ll have that innate grit and determination to ‘go the extra mile’ for the firm, your colleagues and yourself, but, most importantly, our clients. The people who join our team are chosen not only for their aptitude and ability, but also for their attitude and the potential we see in them to help us drive the firm forward and build on our successes year after year.
You’ll receive a full training programme for your ICAEW ACA qualification, funded by us. We will provide you with a structured and supportive approach to your training as you work and study your way to becoming qualified and then, as a qualified Chartered Accountant, to your career development and progression with us. We aren’t a firm that rests on its laurels and you’ll be encouraged constantly to strive to do better and to work towards achieving your ambitions.
So what can you expect if you join us as Graduate Trainee? You will join our busy Audit & Assurance compliance department, where you’ll gain extensive knowledge of commercial, financial and taxation matters from your colleagues to supplement your studies. You will have plenty of opportunities to learn and gain experience in our specialist departments located across our three offices.
You’ll not just be working with the numbers; you’ll be working as a team with your colleagues and will have direct contact with our clients soon after joining us, so you’ll need great interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. You’ll need the personality and skills to build an exceptional rapport with our clients and you’ll have a real commitment to giving them the excellent service we are known for and are proud to provide. Our clients operate across many sectors and vary in size; no two days and audits will be the same.
It’s a varied and highly challenging role that will develop your professional and personal skills as you train.
We know that when you join us, you will still have much to learn, but we do require a minimum of a 2:1 degree with A levels of Grade B or above in three subjects (which must exclude General Studies).
Not only will you be joining a firm that will fund your ICAEW ACA training & examination fees and, once you’ve qualified, give you structured opportunities for career progression, you’ll work alongside experts in their field who are committed to your development and to helping you achieve success.
You’ll be offered an excellent competitive salary, with incentives and salary increases as you succeed. You will also receive a benefits package, including a bonus scheme. Our modern offices provide a caring, friendly working environment and are easily accessible by public transport and commuter links. Your benefits package will include:-
- Bonus incentives for first-time passes at each level of the ACA qualification
- Generous salary increase when you qualify
- Annual salary review
