Our Finance Function

At Lendlease we look for the brightest people and give them the environment to think and innovate. Our Finance team provides both strategic insight and operational financial support to all areas of our business, playing a pivotal role in driving the performance of the Group. This includes partnering with the business to assist in driving and influencing key strategic decision making; providing timely, reliable and accurate analysis, reporting and expert advice; as well as establishing our systems, processes and reporting platforms to support business performance and day to day management.
The Finance stream of our Graduate Programme is designed to enhance your skills, build your experience and provide you with an in-depth understanding of finance at Lendlease. During the programme you will undertake further studies (ACA), as well as attend structured in-house development courses whilst having the opportunity to work in finance across a broad range of the Lendlease business.
Our Graduate Programme
As a participant of the Lendlease Graduate Programme, you will become part of a diverse, team-based environment where you will have the opportunity to work with truly experienced professionals, in a culture that ensures you develop and grow – in fact, many of our leaders began their career as part of our graduate programme.
Our unique programme streams are developed in line with our vision and business strategy and are tailored to enhance your skills and support you for future roles with Lendlease. You will be supported through a structured learning and development programme, a variety of on the job assignments, and networking opportunities, including:
• An annual conference; developing your self-awareness and ability to build great relationships;
• A series of business capability workshops in areas such as negotiating and business acumen;
• Ongoing catch ups with senior leaders to encourage and steer your progress;
• A buddy and a mentor.
During the two-year programme you will develop lasting networks with both senior leaders and fellow graduates. Upon completion of our programme we are proud to say that some of our best graduates have been successful in securing sought after opportunities across our international projects in places like Sydney and Singapore.

- A minimum 2:1 classification in Accounting and/or Finance are preferred.
- Other degree qualifications with relevant work experience will be considered.
- Some relevant and demonstrable work experience.
Steps to Apply
Please be aware that we have 2 waves to our application process, the first has a closing date of the 12th November 2017, the second has a closing date of the 4th February 2018.

STEP 1 – Online Application Form (including submission of CV & Covering Letter)
You will be asked to provide your basic details and upload a copy of your CV and Covering Letter – we cannot review your application without these.
TIP: Tailor your Covering Letter to Lendlease. It should highlight why you are a great fit for us, why we are a great fit for you and include a reference to the Programme Stream of your choice. This should be no more than a page and please feel free to use bullet points.
STEP 2 – Video Interview
This is a one-way automated video interview and a great opportunity to make your application come to life. Further details will be made available to you when you reach this stage.
TIP: Prepare for it as you would for a face-to-face interview and make the most of the practice questions/time.
STEP 3 – Assessment Centre
We will invite you to attend an Assessment Centre at one of our offices/projects. We’ll further assess your suitability through individual and group exercises and interviews. It will provide you with an opportunity to find out more about us, our graduate programme and speak to some of our graduates to help you decide is Lendlease is for you.
TIP: Try to relax as much as possible – we will definitely do our best to make you feel at ease.
