Building on your academic strength this role will see you develop into a qualified business adviser whilst studying for your ACA - Level 7 Accountancy Professional Apprenticeship.

What you'll be up to..
The first two weeks will involve a technical induction giving you the foundations of knowledge to begin your journey. You’ll attend an external coaching session, meet with your line manager and network with our wide range of trainees, managers and partners.
You’ll then get stuck into some tangible client work learning the principles of Audit. Day to day you'll be:
- Working on client site getting to know the "behind the scenes" of how a business operates
- Testing checks and balances to ensure they work how they’re supposed to
- Analysing a variety of financial records and data ensuring it shows a "true and fair reflection"
- Working collaboratively in a team to deliver your part of the audit process
- Mucking-in on extra projects and ad-hoc tasks when it counts

What we're looking for
Being numbers savvy is a myth; you need great attention to detail and a knack for following processes.
We don't just want robots who "churn out work" - We want real genuine people who can listen to our clients' problems and help tackle them head-on.
As the major of our work is client based you need to be comfortable approaching clients and asking questions. It's also preferential if you drive and have access to a car.
To help set people up for success we prefer students to have a minimum of 112 UCAS points, however – drive an ambition is just as important! As such we welcome applications from all backgrounds.
Any previous experience communicating with clients, or working in finance/accounts would be an advantage.
