Important information - Candidates must be within a 40 minute maximum driving distance to the office in Pinner. Due to the location of the office (not near by stations etc) you must be able to drive/have access to a car.  The firm has asked that we only consider locally living candidates because relocating, given the salary and timings of the role, will make relocation very difficult and those that have relocated have found it difficult to manage and have then resigned. 

The role is based in Pinner, North West London.  The trainee will work in the audit and accounts departments. This will involve working with a range of audit clients across several industry sectors. You will be trained in the audit process and they will take you on a journey from graduate to professionally qualified. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of interesting businesses and help provide a great client service. As well as training on the job, full study support will be provided towards obtaining either the ACA (or ACCA) qualification. This includes relevant professional training, study and exam leave. The role offers the opportunity to work within a small practice obtaining a broad experience working on a large number of clients providing you with variety on a daily basis. Requirements Academic  2.2 or above degree in any discipline  3 A levels, with grade BBB or higher (or equivalent)  Grade B or higher in GCSE Mathematics and English Language (or equivalent).  They are looking for a talented individual who has a strong interest and commitment to a career in the accountancy profession. The successful candidate will be expected to pro-actively communicate directly with clients, so excellent English skills (both spoken and written) are a requirement. A professional, enthusiastic and responsible approach are required, as well as being able to demonstrate the ability to work independently, problem-solve and propose solutions. The role includes the requirement to work through large amounts of financial data and documentation, therefore an eye for detail and a methodical approach is also important. Finally building great relationships whist using your initiative to take ownership of your role and inspire those around you is essential.

The Company is a firm of Chartered Tax Advisers, Accountants and Auditors. They provide a wide range of services to businesses and individuals, within the London area but also to international businesses operating in the UK. The business has been trading for nearly 20 years and has approximately 20 staff. The successful candidate will be working as part of an audit team of up to 5 people, and within an accounts department of 10 people. The firm is well established and has seen significant year on year growth which continues to be the firm’s short-term and long-term strategy.
