Job Description

We are looking to recruit a school-leaver to complete the ICAEW CFAB Level 4 Accounting Apprenticeship.

This will mean we will make available time to attend courses with a leading professional college and sponsor all course fees and exam costs.

Full Description:

Our experienced team will provide comprehensive on-the-job training but the ideal candidate should be extremely numerate and have excellent IT skills including competent usage of word, excel, email etc.

We want you to develop a wide variety of skills and experiences at the start of your career, so your duties will include helping with general office admin such as filing of clients documents, bookkeeping for clients on computerised accounts systems (Xero, Sage, Quickbooks etc), assisting with payroll and VAT returns, preparing accounts schedules on excel, mailing correspondence to clients and any other duties that one would expect in a busy accounting practice

Training with us will help you:

  • Gain an understanding of how businesses of different sizes work/operate
  • Work with businesses in a number of different sectors
  • Feel supported – you’ll work closely with experienced accountants to help maximise your development.

Future Prospects:

Continuation of ongoing training through the ACA qualification to become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant if desired
