    BV Recruitment

Are you a Accounts Semi Senior / general practice semi senior who is a part qualified AAT or part qualified ACA, or a qualified by Experience Semi Senior who hasn’t taken any exams, with a minimum of 2 years experience looking to join an independent accountancy practice firm with around 10 staff? Are you looking for a firm where you will receive excellent training and support, and be provided with the opportunity to carry out a mixed general practice role? Are you keen to work in an easily accessible location in Zone 1 Central London? Are you keen to prepare statutory accounts, as well as carry out audits, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, bookkeeping and other ad hoc tasks as required? Your role will be split roughly 50% accounts and general practice duties, 30% tax and 20% spent on audit assignments (training on audits will be provided). You will gain exposure to a wide range of London based SME clients, with turnovers to £20m. Training will be provided where necessary. Rapid progression will be offered to the right candidate. The firm offers partial ACA study support only.

To be considered for this new role you must have at least 2 years of general practice experience and be studying the ACA although candidates who are qualified by experience and havnt taken any professional exams will be considered. Candidates who have failed ACA exams will also be considered but you must be from a smaller firm background with at least 2 years general practice experience. You must have experience of preparing statutory accounts from scratch, corporation tax returns, Vat returns, bookkeeping and ideally some audit testing. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including CCH and Sage, would be an advantage. A strong interest in working with London based SME and OMB clients is essential. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace.

This growing accountancy firm has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of high profile and growing London based clients from a wide range of sectors. The firm is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins from larger accountancy firms. Overall this is a unique opportunity for a small firm general practice semi senior to join an entrepreneurial and forward thinking practice in an interesting and varied general practice position.
