Are you a part qualified ACA Accounts Semi Senior from a practice background looking to upgrade to a large City based company, which is a very large international service provider, with an accountancy arm? Are you keen to work in a firm which has clients to rival the Big 4, including FTSE 100 and Global Fortune 500 Clients? Are you looking to work for a firm which is in a great City location, and assessible from all City based tube and train stations? Would you like to work in a corporate environment, which still retains a friendly and small firm feel, where you will work on many household names? Your role will include preparing both statutory and management accounts for clients, as well as VAT returns and some bookkeeping assignments. You will prepare accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS so experience of both would be an advantage although training can be provided. Clients sectors are varied and many will be international. You will also be responsible for providing the external audit file for clients, liaising with external auditors, liaising with HMRC and other advisory based projects. You will receive study support for your remaining exams and on job training will be provided.
To be considered for this new role you must be a part qualified ACA (or finalist), with strong academics and you must currently be working for a good quality practice firm with experience of the above duties (particularly statutory and management accounts). You must have at least 2 years experience working for a UK based practice firm. You must be able to work to tight deadlines, deal with demanding clients, and be willing to sometimes work long hours in order to service your clients to the highest standard possible. You must show drive and ambition and be looking to progress in the future. Experience using a wide range of software packages, including Iris for accounts preparation, would be advantageous.
