Arram Berlyn Gardner (ABG) is a multi-award winning, medium-sized firm of chartered accountants, auditors and tax & business advisors established in 1966 and located in London EC1, employing around 110 people. Our wide range of clients include household names, family businesses, entrepreneurs, start-ups and private clients.
At ABG we are looking for hard-working, motivated A-Level (or equivalent) students to join our friendly Team and build a solid career in Accountancy starting in January 2020.
As a Trainee, your structured programme is based around gaining valuable work experience and studying for the CFAB qualification whilst being an integral part of the ABG Audit and Accounts Team.
What does the ABG School Leaver Programme - (CFAB Level 4) involve?
The ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (ICAEW CFAB) is an internationally recognised certificate that teaches essential knowledge in business, finance and accounting.
The programme is two years in duration and in this time you will work towards obtaining your CFAB Qualification through both study and a varierty of work experience.
Upon successful completion of the Level 4 Qualification and for suitable candidates, we offer the opportunity to remain at ABG for an additional 3-year training contract to complete the ACA Professional Qualifications and become a fully-fledged Chartered Accountant!
We are looking for motivated, numerate and hard-working students with excellent customer facing skills who are committed to both their work and study to join our sociable Team. Additionally, strong communication skills and the ability to manage time and work under pressure are also essential to this role and future ACA studies.
Candidates must have (or international equivalent):
• 3 A Levels at grades A*- C, excluding General Studies and Extended Projects (300-320 UCAS Points or equivalent)
• A*- B at GCSE in Maths & English Language
All candidates are required to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in the U.K.
Assessment day to be held in: October 2019.
