Are you an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior or Trainee Accountant, with at least 18 months experience from a small to medium sized practice firm, looking to work for a West End accountancy practice firm with around 30 staff, where you can receive excellent training and ACCA study support, and be provided with the opportunity to carry out a mixed general practice role? Are you keen to work in an easily accessible location in Zone 1 Central London? Are you keen to carry out a role mixed 60% audit and 40% accounts and tax? You will be responsible for assisting on audit assignments and be trained so that you can start to run complete audit assignments yourself from planning to completion. You will also complete statutory accounts and corporation tax returns. You will be responsible for supervising juniors from time to time. You will work on a wide variety of clients with turnovers to £40m: UK subsidiarys of large overseas companies, FCA regulated companies, large international groups, fashion and designers, retailers, high end restaurants and many other interesting sectors. The firm uses Caseware for audits, Iris for accounts and Xero and sage for bookkeeping. Training will be provided where necessary. Rapid progression will be offered to the right candidate.
To be considered for this new role you must have at least 18 months of general practice experience, including carrying out audit assignments. It is likely you will be a part qualified ACCA although part qualified ACA’s will still be considered. It is likely you will be from a small or medium size practice background. As well as audit, you must have experience of preparing accounts and tax returns. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including Caseware, Iris, Xero and sage would be an advantage but training will be provided. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace.
