KPMG in the UK offers Audit, Tax, Legal, Consulting, Deal Advisory, and Technology services. Powered by the talent of more than 16,000 people, we bring creativity, insight and experience to solve our clients’ and communities’ biggest problems.
What is Audit at KPMG?
In Audit, we examine organisations and help ensure their published annual accounts are a ‘true and fair’ reflection of their financial performance. From big retailers, to UK banks and multinational companies, we audit businesses of all shapes and sizes. We deliver robust outcomes by working to the highest standards and as part of that, we continue to invest heavily in tech-enabled solutions, which not only allow us to offer deeper insights and higher quality audits, but also a better user experience for our auditors.
As an Audit apprentice, your investigative work, independent insight and challenge will help us to deliver quality audit outcomes, which helps to build trust in the economy and supports businesses and society to thrive. You’ll learn to use new technologies and tools such as artificial intelligence and predictive analytics to produce high quality audits. As part of our collaborative team of auditors, you’ll gain broad experience and develop core professional skills and in-depth knowledge of different businesses. We’ll support your studies for accountancy qualifications, empower you to go further than you could imagine and inspire you to build a rewarding future with us.
Training and Benefits
You’ll have access to an extensive programme of internal training geared towards your career and personal development; and the chance to use your skills to make a difference through a range of community volunteering initiatives. On this apprenticeship, you’ll study for the AAT Levels 3 and 4, plus the Level 7 ACA/CA professional qualification. You’ll have the opportunity to earn a salary, gain valuable work experience, and achieve an industry-recognised qualification - all at the same time. We offer a host of great benefits too, including 25 days holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday.
We will look at your academic results, and will also consider your strengths, values and motivations. See our ‘Applying to KPMG’ section on our Careers Portal for further guidance.
