Audit Semi-Senior based in Dudley, West Midlands

The role:

  • The role is based in our audit and assurance department working as part of a team to deliver a full list of audit, accounting, taxation and advisory services across a varied client base including, but not limited to, manufacturing & distribution, Not-for-Profit, Academies, motor sector.
  • Assisting on large audits as semi-senior and running smaller audits as senior, delivering the file to a manager ready for their review
  • Preparation of statutory accounts, including disclosures from clients TB
  • Preparation of corporation tax computations
  • A comprehensive training scheme is offered involving full assistance towards professional qualifications and becoming a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW)
  • Contract start date as soon as possible.

 

Training route:

  • ICAEW level 7 apprenticeship based on a three or four year training contract – or support from the point you are at in your studies on joining us

Qualifications:

  • At least two years’ experience in practice in an audit department
  • Good computer skills are essential
  • A willingness and desire to learn is essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to process accounting data timely and accurately.
  • Flexible and positive personality with good interpersonal skills for dealing with clients and other members of the team
