Job Description
Job description
Gain on-the-job experience that will help you decide if you’d prefer your career to start with an apprenticeship – rather than at uni. You’ll contribute to real client projects and learn from our apprentices, while discovering what it’s like to work with some of the world’s largest businesses.
What is the Business Academy at EY?
It’s our way of helping you decide how you want to start your career. You might not be sure about going to uni, but if you’re equally unsure if jumping into the world of work is right for you, join us for a week to help you make your decision. By spending time in our teams, you’ll discover what we do and have lots of opportunities to speak to our current apprentices about their decision and experiences so far.
What will you be doing?
You’ll support our team on real client work, learning alongside our apprentices and specialist teams. You’ll also see what it’s like to work with some of the world’s largest organisations, while picking up new skills through tailored training sessions across the week. Best of all, you’ll be given a head start developing the business skills you’ll need if you decide an apprenticeship is right for you - communication, teamwork and initiative being just a few of these.
Entry requirements
You need to be in Year 12 (UK) and S5 (Scotland) and be on track to achieve three A-Levels, five Scottish Highers or the equivalent. You’ll also need to have gained a minimum of Level 2/GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language & Maths by the time the programme starts. You will also need to live within a 1 hour commuting distance of the office location you have applied to.
