Traditionally the route to a professional accounting qualification has been via University, obtaining a degree and a significant amount of debt. The business world is adapting and there is now the opportunity obtain the prestigious ACA accounting qualification straight out of school.
On the AB Agri Finance Apprentice scheme you will have the chance to study towards the level 7 ACA apprenticeship which will see you become a fully qualified chartered accountant within 3 years. You will receive on the job training and will also be given time off to study for your exams as well as AB Agri funding your training, course materials and exam sittings.
Your apprenticeship will start within the central finance department gaining an understanding of basic accounting concepts and book keeping progressing towards to forecasts, budgets and financial reporting. Within your first year you will also work within credit control, sales ledger and purchase ledger teams giving you a fantastic opportunity to learn the fundamental transactions and processes in our business.
After your first year you will have the opportunity to work with other divisions within AB Agri working closely with other finance professionals helping Agri achieve its strategic and financial objectives.
