Job Description

Are you a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant / Accounts Clerk, looking to work for a high profile Lloyds Syndicate / Insurance company based in the City? Or are you a practice candidate looking to make your first move into industry? Or are you a recent graduate looking to make your first move into the world of finance? Are you motivated to do well, keen to learn and have a good work attitude? If so this newly created position has a lot to offer! Based in a small finance team of 4, your role will include: journal entries, bank reconciliations, maintaining all ledgers (sales ledger, purchase ledger, nominal ledger etc), making payments, managing syndicate bank accounts, assisting with VAT returns and assisting with various regulatory returns when required. Full training will be given and no experience of working within financial services is required. Your role will be varied, challenging, yet hugely enjoyable.

To be considered for this new and exciting position you must have a good attitude to work and be looking to learn. No experience is required but it is likely you will currently be a Finance Assistant looking for your next challenge, a practice candidate looking to move into industry or a recent graduate looking for your first move into finance. Your attitude to work and learning is the most important thing to this firm. Full training will be provided. The firm is based in the City so it is important that you live with commutable distance to the City. You must be educated to at least A level standard. It would be an advantage if you had A levels in Maths, Economics or Business Studies but not essential.  

This Traditional, reputable, well established financial services business is over 100 years old and is experiencing high levels of growth and profitability. They are very well established and have a great reputable in the financial services world and City.
