We are currently looking for our next exciting year of Graduate / Trainee Chartered Accountants to start with us on 1st September 2021, although typically we would look to bring in successful individuals over the summer months if available.
We have positions available across our Leeds, Skipton, Carlisle, Northallerton, Newcastle & Glasgow offices.
We’ve designed our three-year programme to take you on a journey to become a professionally qualified business adviser. You’ll help us provide market leading business advice and service to support our clients’ growth. It’s a busy 3 years with lots of exciting challenges and rewarding career development opportunities.
With full study support for the ICAEW ACA qualification, you will pack in lots of learning and new experiences alongside your formal study and revision for exams. Sitting primarily in our Audit and Assurance team throughout the training programme, you may be given the opportunity to gain experience across a variety of specialist service lines including Recovery, Restructuring & Insolvency, Financial Planning, Corporate Finance and Tax Consultancy depending on business needs and workload. We aim for colleagues to have two service-line rotations throughout the three year learning period; for a period of 4 weeks each time.
We want candidates who demonstrate strong communication skills, who are driven to succeed with a can-do positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Candidates must possess: 2:1 degree or above (achieved or predicted) in any discipline or the full AAT or CFAB qualification. Please note that we will consider candidates with a 2:2 degree in certain locations if the degree is in a subject relevant to the role. Candidates must also hold 7 GCSE’s at C or above (including Maths, English and at least one Science) along with a minimum of 104 UCAS Points (obtained at A or AS Level).
Recruitment Process & How to Apply

If we shortlist your application, you will be invited to complete some online tests which will help us identify the level of your numeracy and literacy skills. These tests will be sent to you on Thursday 7th January 2021 with a deadline of Sunday 17th January 2021 to complete.
If you are successful following completion of the online testing, we will invite you to a one-on-one interview via video call with a member of our Talent Acquisition Team, where you will be given the chance to ask any questions you have about the firm and the role.
Should you then be successful following the video interview, you will then be asked to attend one of our Regional Assessment Centre's which take place at venues close to our recruiting offices. This involves a presentation, full competency based interview, paper-based task and group exercise.
Regional Assessment Centre's for these roles are expected to take place on Monday 1st March 2021 & Tuesday 2nd March 2021 in Leeds (for our Leeds and Skipton intake), Wednesday 5th March 2021 in Newcastle (for our Newcastle / Northallerton intake), Thursday 4th March 2021 in Carlisle & Friday 5th March 2021 in Glasgow.
