Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a small number of students to undertake a valuable 12-month, paid internship with us at our band new Manchester office. We are a top 50 award winning professional services firm with an excellent reputation for training staff in a friendly and welcoming environment.

The Moore and Smalley internship programme is a 12-month programme intended for students who wish to complete an internship as part of their degree. The programme will give you the opportunity to gain hands on professional experience as well as a unique insight into working life at Moore and Smalley and a good grounding into what it takes to be a successful business advisor.

You will receive a full induction to Moore and Smalley, and very quickly be up and running, working alongside our graduate trainees and experienced professionals in our audit and accounts team, with some additional exposure to our corporate finance team, contributing to work for a wide variety of clients.

  • A head start to your career
  • Real life, hands-on, paid work experience
  • Build networks with experienced colleagues
  • Access to exciting clients
  • Develop your skills and confidence
  • The knowledge to decide whether a professional career is for you
  • Train and work alongside our graduate intake
  • Support from a mentor
  • A full induction to Moore and Smalley
  • Modern office environment overlooking St. Peter’s Square

You will benefit from first class training and be supported every step of the way, enabling you to grow in confidence, develop your skills, build relationships and make an early impact to the Firm.

If you impress us during your internship – and you like us, there’s a good chance you’ll be invited for an interview for a place on our graduate programme.

Internships will commence during the summer between July to September and continue for 12 months on a fixed term contract that is suited to your sandwich course.

First interviews will be held in December and second interviews will be completed in the new year. Successful candidates will commence their role late August 2021.
