Beever and Struthers value its staff because we are passionate about the services we provide to our clients. You will work in small teams and given increased responsibility as you progress in your exams and experience.  We will ensure you attend client executive meetings and board meetings early in your career to gain insight of how client firms operate at the highest level. During your training contract we will pay for your courses and give you time off to study.

Training Programme and Qualification

Successful applicants will join our Risk Assurance and Advisory team and be given the opportunity to qualify for one of three different training pathways:

1. ACA - to train for the globally recognised Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) qualification, enabling individuals to become qualified chartered accountants and members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). The duration of this programme is 36 months.

2. ACCA – to train for the globally recognised Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification, providing a strong grounding in accounting principles, the qualification opens the door to a wide range of career paths across different countries and industry sectors, as well as the ability to work in practice.

3.CIA – studying for the internal auditing professional qualification offered by the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, we will train you to become a Certified Internal Auditor.  You will be able to put into practice what you will learn about internal audit theory and the core frameworks, including the International Standards, and how to plan and perform an internal audit engagement.

Alongside one of the three options above, you will receive direct training in relation to the internal audit of information and communication technologies.  This will include hands on training and support which will help shape your career as an IT Auditor. 

The hands-on experience will be supplemented with an opportunity to study towards the Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) qualification, through the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

Person Specifications:

You must have at least a minimum of a 2:2 in an IT related degree, 3 A level passes at grade A-C and GCSE Maths and English at grade B and above. Please set out all information clearly and in detail. Candidates who do not include this information may not be contacted for clarification.

All candidates will be required to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the training contract.

Salary: 

Dependent upon qualifications and experience.
