Main duties and responsibilities:

You’ll be required to work as part of a team in a general practice role working with a wide diverse range of clients. Duties will include:

  • Accounts preparation
  • Auditing as required
  • Tax computations
  • VAT returns
  • Job planning
  • Review of files and correspondence prepared by trainees/accounts assistants

Key skills and experience:

To be successful, you must be AAT qualified with experience. You should be working towards your ACA or ACCA qualification or be fully qualified. You must also possess the following skills:

  • Proven track record in a practice environment
  • Able to work unaided to strict deadlines
  • Fully computer literate with significant experience of using Sage software would be advantageous
  • Accept instruction from senior personnel

Personal attributes required include punctuality and reliability, numeracy and accuracy, excellent communication skills, good teamwork skills and the ability and willingness to succeed.
