ABG School Leaver Programme (CFAB)

Arram Berlyn Gardner (ABG) is a multi-award winning, medium-sized firm of chartered accountants, auditors and tax & business advisors established in 1966 and located in London EC1, employing around 100 people.  Our clients include household names, family businesses, entrepreneurs, start-ups and private clients.

ABG are looking for hard-working, ambitious A-Level (or equivalent) students to join us and build a career in Accountancy starting in January 2019.

If the costs of university tuition are concerning you, we are offering Trainees the opportunity to gain a professional qualification, earn a salary and gain diverse work experience whilst being fully supported in obtaining a professional qualification.


About the Program (CFAB):

The ICAEW Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (ICAEW CFAB) is an internationally recognised certificate that teaches essential knowledge in business, finance and accounting.

The programme is two years in duration and in this time you will work towards obtaining your CFAB Qualification through both study and work experience.

Upon successful completion of the Qualification and for the right candidates, we will offer the opportunity to join us on a further 3 year training contract to complete the ACA Professional Qualifications and become a fully-fledged Chartered Accountant.



We are looking for ambitious, numerate and intelligent students with excellent customer facing skills who are willing to work and study hard to join our friendly and sociable office. Additionally, good communication skills and the ability to manage own time and work under pressure are also essential.



  • Minimum of 300 UCAS points (old tariff) or 120 UCAS points (new tariff) (or equivalent)

  • 5 GCSE’s Grades A*-C , with a Grade B in both Maths and English (or equivalent)

All candidates are required to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in the U.K.
