Job Description

Are you a part qualified ACA  Accounts Semi Senior with at least 2 years practice experience, looking to upgrade to a large Top 15 practice based in a prime location in Central London? Are you also looking for a role where you will work on both statutory accounts and management accounts? Are you looking to gain exposure to larger, technically more complex and high profile clients? Are you keen to receive full training and support so that you can work with and advise a wide range of large businesses, including large listed companies, groups, high growth entrepreneurial start ups and AIM listed clients? Are you keen to gain exposure to sectors such as media, entertainment, technology, financial services, property, retail, shipping, renewable energy and many others? Are you also keen to work in a modern, forward thinking international firm, in a friendly team offering flexible work arrangements? Based in the growing Business Services department, your role will be varied, and include preparing statutory accounts and management accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping assignments using cloud based software, basic corporation tax returns, and many other ad hoc duties as required. All accounts will be prepared under either FRS 102 or IFRS. Training will be provided where necessary, including for any consolidated accounts assignments. This department has had great success with both large firm candidates looking for a new challenge and also small firm candidates looking to step up to a larger firm. The firm also welcomes applicants from candidates working in a firm outside London who want to relocate to London and work for a large London firm.

To be considered for this new role (August 2021) it is likely you will be ACA part qualified (or fully AAT qualified and looking to start the ACA) with at least 2 years experience working in a good quality practice firm. Ideally you will have experience of all the following areas (statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping and basic corporation tax returns) although the firm will still consider candidates with experience of statutory accounts OR management accounts. You will currently be an Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Assistant working for a good quality practice firm, with experience of a wide range of software. You must be well presented, well spoken and professional as this is a client facing position.
