Are you a part qualified ACA Audit Semi Senior with first time passes in all exams, looking to leave your current firm, and finish your remaining exams with a Top 15 firm? Are you also keen to be trained so that you can specialise in very interesting financial services clients? Are you keen to move to a firm based in Central London where you can continue with your training and learn new skills and progress in the future? If so, this expanding international practice, with lovely offices and a structured career path for all staff, is currently looking to recruit a number of part qualified ACA Audit Semi Seniors with a strong exam history to join their expanding Financial Services team. Your role will be audit based and will include being trained so you can complete all stages of the audit process and start to lead audits yourself. You will also gain exposure to a large number of advisory based projects and one off assignments. Your clients will all be financial services related, including investment funds, investment management companies, insurance companies and various intermediaries. You will work on some very large and complex clients and many clients and funds will be international in nature. As well as complex groups you will also gain IFRS exposure. To start with you will mainly carry out the testing stage of the audit process but you will quickly be trained so you can start to complete the planning and completion stages. There may also be a small element of statutory accounts preparation from time to time.
To be considered for this new role you must be a part qualified ACA, or a qualified AAT looking to start the ACA. Ideally you will have first time passes in all exams to date. Experience of financial services clients is not essential but you must show an interest in specialising in this rewarding sector. It is likely you will currently be working for a medium or large sized firm, in a role at least 50% audit based, with between one and three years relevant auditing experience in a good quality practice. You must have experience of at least audit testing (planning and completion would be an advantage but not essential). You must also have a strong academic background. You will be given every opportunity at this firm to acquire new skills and progress to a higher level at a rapid pace, and you will be given top rate training and support so that you pass your remaining professional exams at first attempt.
This growing Top 15 international accountancy firm with over 200 staff has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of clients from the financial services sectors. The Financial Services department is growing at a rapid rate due to many new business wins from larger accountancy firms both in the UK and internationally. Overall this is a unique opportunity for a good quality Audit Semi Senior / part qualified ACA or a qualified AAT, to join a leading Top 15 international practice, finish all your remaining ACA exams, be trained to work with financial services clients and carry out a high profile role with great future progression and opportunities on offer.
