Are you an AAT student with at least one year of experience from a practice background looking to upgrade to a large business services department based in a Top 20 Central London based practice? Are you looking to get a large firm name on your CV, work in a friendly office and also receive study support for your remaining AAT and then ACCA exams? Would you like the opportunity to work with a mixture of large international businesses, but also smaller SME clients from a wide range of sectors, including property, media, entertainment, retail, gaming and financial services? If so, this growing international Top 20 accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in the City is looking to recruit a new AAT Trainee due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Your role will be varied and will include bookkeeping assignments and the preparation of VAT returns, and also being trained so that you can prepare both statutory accounts and management accounts and basic corporation tax returns. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a large team that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future.
To be considered for this new role you will be an AAT student with at least one years experience working for a UK based practice firm, and have experience of the above duties, particularly bookkeeping assignments and VAT returns. Any experience of accounts or tax returns would be an advantage but not essential. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including CCH, sage and Xero, would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary. You must now be looking to upgrade to a large Top 20 where you can continue with your accountancy career and work on an interesting client base.
