Are you a part qualified ACA or a finalist with a few exams remaining, operating at Accounts Semi Senior / Business Services Semi Senior level with strong statutory accounts and management accounts experience? Based in a niche team which specialises in all the firms high profile FCA regulated businesses, you will gain exposure to a range of clients including investment companies, hedge fund managers, investment advisors, brokers, corporate finance companies, private equity firms and many other financial services and FCA regulated companies. Your role will be varied, enjoyable and challenging. You will be responsible for the production of both statutory accounts and sometimes management accounts, as well as Vat returns, and being trained so that you can prepare annual FCA returns for your clients. You will also be responsible for ad hoc assignments and advisory projects and reports on a regular basis. The firm allows flexible working and allows staff to work two days a week from home with three days a week spent in the office. The firm has also had great success over the years with candidates currently working for a practice firm based outside of London who are looking to relocate and upgrade to a London based firm.
To be considered for this new role (September 2021) it is likely you will be a part qualified ACA or a finalist, likely with between 2 and 3 years experience. It is likely you will be an Accounts Semi Senior or Business Services Semi Senior based in a good quality practice firm of any size, looking to upgrade to a larger firm and learn how to work with financial services based clients in a more established team with better progression and opportunities for future development. Your current role must include the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments. It would be an advantage if you had experience of a wide range of software packages including Xero, Sage and Quickbooks. It is also vital that you are well presented, well spoken and professional as this is a client facing position. You must also be able to work to tight deadlines.
