Are you a part qualified ACA Audit Semi Senior / Audit & Accounts Semi Senior looking to upgrade to a very good quality, medium size London based accountancy firm and carry out a varied role consisting of audit assignments, accounts preparation work, tax returns and various advisory based projects? Do you have first time passes in your ACA exams? Are you looking for study support for your remaining exams? Are you keen to work in a firm with excellent progression to senior and then manager grade on offer? Based in the busy Audit & Accounts Department, your role will be split 50% audit assignments and 50% spent on statutory accounts and tax returns, with a small element of your time spent on ad hoc projects such as management accounts, cashflows, budgets, forecasts, due diligence etc). Based in a West End practice firm with around 60 staff, you will be responsible for assisting on audit assignments and mainly carrying out audit testing, preparing statutory accounts prepare draft corporation tax computations. Your role will quickly progress and you will be given responsibility so you can lead your own audits from planning to completion at a rapid pace. Your role will be varied, challenging and hugely enjoyable with great progression prospects on offer. In this new role, you will gain exposure to a wide range of UK and international clients, including groups, from sectors including media and entertainment, financial services, property, legal, technology, retail and other interesting sectors. This firm has had great success with people currently working for a practice outside of London and want to relocate to London and work for a larger, London based practice firm.
To be considered for this new role you must have at least one year experience, probably in a small or medium size accountancy firm and be ACA part qualified. You MUST have first time passes in your ACA exams to date and a strong educational background. You must have experience of audit assignments, especially the audit testing phase but planning and completion experience would be a bonus, statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and liaising with clients. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage as is a desire to work in a mixed general practice role. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace.
