Audit Work Placement

Albert Goodman is a top 50 accountancy, tax and financial services Firm and a Best Companies Top 75 place to work in the South West with offices in Taunton, Bristol, Chard, Weston-Super-Mare, Weymouth and Yeovil.

We have a 12 month work placement available starting Summer 2020 which may suit those looking for an accounting placement as part of their degree programme, or those who may have already graduated. Our work placements provide a fantastic opportunity to develop commercial and accountancy skills whilst supporting future career choices.

Your placement will be in the audit team who prepare accounts and audit academies, larger companies (from £5m-80m turnover) and not for profit organisations. They are often involved with groups and more complex scenarios including advice on business structure and planning.

We look for talented individuals with drive and enthusiasm who can demonstrate a strong academic track record and who we can invest in to strengthen our business and help us deliver our strategic goals and vision.  Many of our work placements take up permanent positions after graduating so preference will be given to those candidates who are more likely to eventually take up a permanent position with us in the South West.

Qualifications Required

You will be on target for or achieved a 2.1 degree with ideally a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) mostly at Grade A*-B / 9 - 5, including Maths and English and a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent) grade A*- B.
